Meet the artist Kev Munday @ Reem Gallery for Camberley Art Festival

Join us on Saturday 29th June from midday to 2pm as we host local art phenomena Kev Munday for the Camberley Art Festival. Declared by the Telegraph newspaper as “one of 5 top emerging artists to invest in”, Kev has created artwork for brands including Walt Disney (a hand painted figure for an exhibition), Graham & Brown (a wallpaper), Fracture Skateboards (a series of decks) and Monster Energy (a large scale mural). His art has featured on BBC2 and Channel 4 and in Elle Decor and Juxtapoz magazines and most recently he has been accepted into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition for 2019!

Kev Munday will also be live painting at Reem Gallery, so it’s a perfect opportunity to see one of the UK’s most in-demand artists up close. A selection of original artworks will be available for purchase during the festival.

RSVP isn’t necessary, all are welcome, but do contact us directly if you’d like further information on the available collection.

Huge Success for Camberley's First Arts & Crafts Festival

Carrying Water at Sunset by Andrea Griffiths, photographed in Tanzania.

This past weekend the Mayor of Surrey Heath welcomed in the first arts and crafts festival in Camberley. With an eclectic mix of arts, crafts and sculptures from a wide range of exhibitors on show, it was an event that showcased the wonderful creative spirit of the people from the local areas and town.

With free fun activities and workshops for children, it was also an opportunity to inspire young minds with what's possible when they apply their imagination and get creative!

The Reem Gallery stands also hosted local international photographer Andrea Griffiths, who exhibited her photographs of the beautiful lives and experiences of the people of Tanzania.

The festival was supported by Surrey Heath and Surrey Adult Learning.
