Meet the artist Kev Munday @ Reem Gallery for Camberley Art Festival

Join us on Saturday 29th June from midday to 2pm as we host local art phenomena Kev Munday for the Camberley Art Festival. Declared by the Telegraph newspaper as “one of 5 top emerging artists to invest in”, Kev has created artwork for brands including Walt Disney (a hand painted figure for an exhibition), Graham & Brown (a wallpaper), Fracture Skateboards (a series of decks) and Monster Energy (a large scale mural). His art has featured on BBC2 and Channel 4 and in Elle Decor and Juxtapoz magazines and most recently he has been accepted into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition for 2019!

Kev Munday will also be live painting at Reem Gallery, so it’s a perfect opportunity to see one of the UK’s most in-demand artists up close. A selection of original artworks will be available for purchase during the festival.

RSVP isn’t necessary, all are welcome, but do contact us directly if you’d like further information on the available collection.

"HO! HO! HO!" Santa & Stavros Flatley come to Town!

In the season to be jolly, Camberley certainly didn’t disappoint and played its part in embracing the festive cheer with the charismatic and dynamic duo Stavros Flatley putting in an energised performance before turning on the Christmas lights and kicking off an incredible fire work display. For the uninitiated, this memorable topless dancing Cypriot family posse were celebrated and highly entertaining contestants from a bygone era of Britain’s Got Talent.

Following on from our recent trip to Miami at the start of the month (read about it here) , we returned to the highly popular venue ‘After Glo’ @ Glo Hair Salon for our Christmas exhibition. As usual, it was very merry with bubbles, cocktails and our signature eclectic mix of artists on show. A special thanks to those that made the evening and another thanks to those who purchased.

In the build up to Christmas we joined the Mayor Dan Adams in dressing up as Santa for a really enjoyable time fundraising for the Surrey Heath Mayor's charities: the Meath Epilepsy charity, the Frimley Health charity and Health Amplifier! Thank you Camberley for all the support you showed us across the town and your generosity that day and evening was exceptional.
