Christmas came early for Reem Gallery as we ventured off to sunny Miami for the world renowned Art Basel Miami.
Over the course of the week we spent time with gallery artists Thirsty Bstrd, Pure Evil and the Connor Brothers and met artists from other spectrums of the contemporary art scene such as Irish painter Vincent Devine and Italian sculptor Lorenzo Quinn. We were also invited to meet for the first time American street artist Kai, known for creating the universally recognised “IF” character.
Having explored every notable art fair in Miami from Art Basel, Context Miami & Art Miami, PULSE, the Untitled Art Fair to Scope Art Fair; we have left absolutely buzzing from the outstanding strength and diversity of the contemporary art market. We look forward to returning in 2019!
Reem Gallery is delighted to offer Pure Evil fans and collectors his latest Olympic inspired artwork. Following on from the hugely popular and sold out Favela print for Rio 2016; Charlie aka Pure Evil has drawn inspiration from the recent Russian doping scandal which rocked the sporting world.
The New Logo for the Olympic Doping Team is a seven colour screen print, limited edition of 200 and currently sold unframed at £300 (excluding delivery). With only a limited amount available, don't hesitate to secure your piece of Olympic history!
The urban maestro that is PURE EVIL has wowed us again with his latest addition to the legendary Nightmare Series.
"The Last Marilyn - Dirty Silver" is a 5 colour screen print, limited to 100 signed editions world wide. We absolutely love the striking red lips of Monroe here and are sure it's going to be a timeless classic from Mr Evil.
To coincide with this release we have in the gallery now two original canvasses from the "Last Marilyn" series. Contact the gallery for further details.
