Meet the artist Kev Munday @ Reem Gallery for Camberley Art Festival

Join us on Saturday 29th June from midday to 2pm as we host local art phenomena Kev Munday for the Camberley Art Festival. Declared by the Telegraph newspaper as “one of 5 top emerging artists to invest in”, Kev has created artwork for brands including Walt Disney (a hand painted figure for an exhibition), Graham & Brown (a wallpaper), Fracture Skateboards (a series of decks) and Monster Energy (a large scale mural). His art has featured on BBC2 and Channel 4 and in Elle Decor and Juxtapoz magazines and most recently he has been accepted into the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition for 2019!

Kev Munday will also be live painting at Reem Gallery, so it’s a perfect opportunity to see one of the UK’s most in-demand artists up close. A selection of original artworks will be available for purchase during the festival.

RSVP isn’t necessary, all are welcome, but do contact us directly if you’d like further information on the available collection.

'Bowie' artwork auction sale raises additional funding for local charities

On Friday 26th April we joined the Mayor and Mayoress of Surrey Heath at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst in celebrating all the wonderfully diverse work done by individuals and organisations for the betterment of the community over the past year.

One of our small gestures was to donate an original artwork by Rob Bishop to be auctioned on the night. A huge thank you to everyone that bid on the magnificent Bowie portrait by Rob Bishop, which raised £1,000 at the Mayoral Ball, with proceeds going towards the selected mayoral organisations The Meath Charity and the Frimley Health Charity.

A huge congratulations also to the magnificent contribution Councillor Dan Adams and his wonderful wife Sarah have made to the community this year as the Surrey Heath Borough Council Mayor & Mayoress. Thank you for all you’ve done and will continue to do.

JJ Adams Rocks Reem Gallery on 5th Year Anniversary

On Saturday 13th April we delightedly hosted the British contemporary artist JJ Adams for his first ever solo show in Camberley, Surrey. The occasion marked Reem Gallery’s 5th anniversary and was opened by the Mayor of Surrey Heath (also a JJ Adams collector) cutting the ceremonial ribbon to the back drop of the Ghostbusters theme music being blasted from a replica ‘Ecto-1’ Cadillac before the eager crowds made their way into the gallery to be wooed by the latest collection.

With JJ signing artwork purchases on the day, many left the event with new mementos to grace their walls but only one excited winner was revealed post-event to have won the special exhibition piece; rewarded via the 1980’s mixtape competition.

It was particularly special to have JJ Adams there with us for the occassion as he was our first ever artist signing back in 2014. Thank you to everyone that joined us on the day and thank you to everyone who has supported us on this wonderful journey so far.
