Rolls-Royce "Ghost Stories" auction in support of Breast Cancer Care

On Tuesday 30th June, Reem Fine Art had the honour and privilege of being invited to attend a wonderful art collaboration event at The Royal Automobile Club on Pall Mall by Breast Cancer Care.

The charity event's purpose was to raise awareness and further funding for a serious health issue that will effect 1 in 8 people at some point in life. This form of cancer also effects men as well as women and this essential organisation exists to support us all on that journey after diagnosis.

Endorsed by Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, 12 critically acclaimed artists were selected to create their own unique interpretations of the famous Ghost car to be auctioned off in aid of supporting the continuous work of Breast Cancer Care. An eclectic range of artists were selected for the project including established household names such as Richard Wentworth and Angela Palmer, Turner Prize winner Mark Wallinger and film director Sam Taylor-Johnson. The occasion proved to also be a prime opportunity for collectors and philanthropists to acquire a collectable artwork from one of the UK's most versatile, popular and in-demand artists including JJ Adams, Charming Baker and Gavin Turk.

The auction night was a huge success achieving in the region of £100,000 through generous bidding and pledges made to a truly great cause. We're pleased to have played our small part, representing our client's winning bid on the JJ Adams's Back to the Future inspired "Outta Time" creation; shown below with Zaid Alexander Badda (Gallery Director).
